Question 1

Does Carl need a sign language interpreter?

Accepted Answer

No. Carl has been profoundly deaf since the age of three and lip-reads. As long as he can see the face of whoever is speaking, he's fine. For question-and-answer sessions, we also bring speech-to-text, so Carl can follow every question.

Question 2

What do we need to provide on the day?

Accepted Answer

Very little. A microphone, and good light on anyone asking a question, so Carl can see their face. When people ask questions from the floor, it helps if they face Carl and speak one at a time. We'll go through everything else when you book.

Question 3

How much does it cost to book Carl?
